As a counselor, I love to help my clients rediscover hope in their pain.  It is important to me that our relationship is safe and collaborative. In our initial sessions, we will create goals that will include what you would like to change and what we can do to affect that change.  These goals will help us evaluate if what we are doing in sessions is working for you.  I am committed to supporting people of all ages in difficult seasons of transition and loss.

I approach counseling by building a trusted counseling relationship based on empathy and compassion. My work is based on counseling practices and Biblical principles. Together we will explore your individual concerns and create realistic counseling goals. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. In working with children, I like to use play therapy.  I work with a variety of issues including anger and aggression problems, addictions, self-harming behaviors, trauma, anxiety, communication issues, broken relationships, developmental challenges and spiritual concerns.
