Your Family Therapist, Sara Hadgraft,

LMFT, LPC, NCC

Your Marriage Feels Stuck. Your Family Feels Fractured. And You’re Not Sure What to Do Next.

Maybe you and your partner are hanging on by a thread, still committed, but exhausted by the distance, the tension, the same fight on repeat. Or maybe you're long past that point, separated, navigating co-parenting, and feeling like peace is always just out of reach.

Whether you’re trying to save your marriage or trying to survive the divorce, I help couples and families find a path forward, one that honors your values, your children, and your emotional well-being.

I’m Sara Hadgraft, LMFT, LPC, and AAMFT Supervisor Candidate. I’ve spent over 25 years helping people navigate the most painful parts of family life—divorce, disconnection, high-conflict co-parenting, and rebuilding relationships after rupture. I also work with couples who are ready to invest deeply in their marriage through customized couples intensives.

Why I Believe in Couples Intensives

After years of doing weekly therapy with couples, I began to see a pattern: progress was slow, disjointed, and often interrupted by the realities of life, childcare, work schedules, or simply the emotional burnout that comes from feeling stuck week after week.

I wanted more for my clients. They wanted more for themselves.

That’s why I now offer Couples Counseling Intensives, a focused, immersive experience where we can get to the heart of the issues more quickly and effectively. Instead of inching along in 50-minute sessions, we spend several hours together in one day, identifying the core patterns in your relationship, building insight, and beginning the repair work in real time.

This format is especially helpful if:

  • You feel disconnected or distant, but still committed to rebuilding.

  • You’re caught in repeating cycles of conflict, criticism, or avoidance.

  • You want to make meaningful progress quickly due to busy schedules.

  • You’re at a crossroads and considering whether to stay or separate.

Whether you leave the intensive feeling more hopeful, more grounded, or more clear, you will leave changed.
