Transitions are hard…and change is scary…

You are hurt, confused, and tired of being misunderstood by those most important to you. You are exhausted by all of your “What ifs”. You both love your kids, and you are trying to figure out: “Are we going to stay together?”

your family needs a change

The problem is, you are unsure what that change needs to be or should be. You are tired of wondering if a change is really possible. And you are scared. What if the change is too much? What if it doesn’t “work”? What does change mean? Can you really do it? Will it even help?

Here is what you do know—living the way you are currently living isn’t working!

Transitions in relationships can look like all sorts of things. It could be moving to college, having a baby, wanting more in your marriage, wondering if separation or divorce is the answer for you and your family, or being a part of a blended family and trying to….blend peacefully.

At Sparrow Counseling, we love helping individuals, couples, and families figure out how to navigate difficulties, transitions, blended families, divorce, separation, or reconciliation to live a life that you all love. Helping people through their most challenging life transitions and navigating with them how to have difficult conversations is our passion! Why? Because we believe that in our work with families, we can help YOU change dysfunctional patterns that will impact your children and how they relate to others, which can be in healthy ways or dysfunctional patterns. We want to help you grow into the best version of yourself! We want you to be able to model that for your children, so they know how to do it themselves. It is vital to us at Sparrow Counseling by keeping people talking so that connection isn’t lost. You can make a transition without it breaking down and going into chaos. You don’t need chaos for you to have a change. Let us help you!

We will fight for your relationship, your hope, and your peace, whether you decide to separate, divorce or blend your families

Your first steps towards healing…

Before you spend more time in your own head or at home arguing in circles with your partner, we have created a process that has guided hundreds of individuals, couples and families towards more cooperation and peace. We make the process easy and tailored to fit your needs.

step 1- getting to know you

Each individual, couple and family that comes through our doors, gets a full assessment, each person having an opportunity to be heard so that the right services are matched with your needs. We also go through an education process to help you plan and understand what needs to change in order for you to have more understanding of you and in those you love.
