Is this for you?
You’re in the right place if…
-
You feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells with your teen
-
Every conversation turns into an argument — or silence
-
You're not sure when to push back and when to let it go
-
You worry about your teen's mood, stress, or mental wellbeing
-
You love your teen deeply and just want to stay connected
THE SERIES
Four Monday evenings. Four shifts in how you show up.
Each session stands on its own; come to one or all four. Topics build on each other, but every class is valuable on its own.
Session 1
Monday, July 7
"What Is Going On In There?" — Understanding the Teen Brain
Why do teens explode over "small" things? The answer isn't attitude — it's brain development. Learn what's actually happening neurologically during adolescence, and why it changes everything about how you respond.
Discover the simple science behind why logic rarely works in heated moments — and what does instead.
Walk away with practical tools to reduce conflict, stay calm under pressure, and connect with your teen in a way that actually lands.
Session 2
Monday, July 14
“Why Won’t They Talk to Me?” Communication That Actually Builds Trust (Not Shutdowns)
Struggling to get through to your teen? The problem usually isn't what you're saying — it's how the conversation starts. Learn why connection has to come before correction.
Small shifts in tone and language can mean the difference between a shutdown and a real conversation. Discover how to approach your teen in a way that lowers defensiveness and keeps the door open.
Walk away with specific phrases, questions, and habits that make your teen more likely to come to you — even when things get hard.
Session 3
Monday, July 21
Pick Your Battles — Holding Limits Without Losing the Relationship
Tired of constant power struggles? Trying to "win" with a teenager rarely works — and often makes things worse. Learn how to hold firm without the fight, leading with calm authority instead of control.
Discover how consistency, structure, and genuine connection work together to reduce rebellion and make limits actually stick.
Walk away with practical scripts and strategies for standing your ground — without escalating conflict or damaging the relationship.
Session 4
Monday, July 28
Is My Teen OK? — Recognizing and Responding to Emotional Struggles
Worried about your teen but not sure if it's "normal"? Learn how to tell the difference between typical teenage stress and signs that something deeper may be going on.
Discover how to respond in a way that builds safety and trust — so your teen feels safe enough to open up instead of shutting down.
Walk away with clear warning signs to watch for, supportive language that opens the door, and a confident sense of what to do next.
